L’IDEA DELLA MOSTRA: SAPHIRA & VENTURA GALLERY AL MUSEO MIIT
In occasione dei grandi eventi ospitati a Torino nel mese di Novembre, primo fra tutti Artissima 2018, Italia Arte, Museo MIIT e Galleria Folco ospitano la mostra curata in collaborazione con Saphira & Ventura Gallery di New York, dal 31 ottobre al 15 novembre 2018. La Saphira & Ventura Gallery è una delle Gallerie storiche della metropoli newyorkese, attiva da molti anni e con collegamenti importantissimi e sedi dislocate tra Singapore, San Paolo del Brasile e Parigi. L’evento viene organizzato nell’ambito degli scambi internazionali tra Museo MIIT e altri enti culturali e artistici internazionali e nell’ambito del Primo Anno Europeo del Patrimonio Culturale a cui il Museo MIIT aderisce con i suoi appuntamenti espositivi del 2018.

An exhibition and conference featuring Neil Kerman
Turin, October 2. The New York International Contemporary Art Society in collaboration with the NY Pro Art Society Museum is pleased to announce its exhibition on Alzheimer’s Awareness featuring Neil Kerman at the Museo Internazionale Italia Arte at Corso Cairoli, 4 from Wednesday, October 31st to November 15. The conference will begin at 19:00 on the day of the reception.
Neil Kerman was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, where he now creates his art not far from the world-famous Coney Island, crediting the multi-faceted borough. In 1972 with his enhancing creativity, Kerman earned his Master’s Degree in Education from Brooklyn College. He has been a guest speaker at numerous conferences and seminars throughout the healthcare industry, and was also the recipient of a prestigious Eden Grant in the amount of $20,000 for improving the quality of life at long term health care facilities. He believes his greatest honor of all was his solo show at the United Nations in New York this past year titled, “Alzheimers: Global Initiative,” where his paintings expressed the emotions and feelings of those that suffer from this debilitating disease.
International Contemporary Art Society (ICAS)
Headquartered in New York with a representation in France, Saphira & Ventura gallery produces exhibits in the United States, Brazil and Europe with the mission to engage and connect artists from different communities in the world. The gallery is a result of the successful work of the curator Alcinda Saphira and the economist Louis Ventura, who has both administered the ICAS for the past five years. The Organization has produced exhibits in renowned places like UN and NY Public Library. Artists interested in promoting their work in the international arts market and being part of a global

New York Pro Art Society Museum
NEW YORK PRO ART SOCIETY MUSEUM is being established for the purpose of collecting, preserving and disseminating contemporary art through exhibitions, fairs and events as part of an innovative, exclusively for artist’s education, and the sharing of multicultural contemporary expression.
As an academic project, it aims to support the educational development of contemporary art teachers, students and their affection for contemporary art, in all levels of education, through extension programs, the promotion of research, the forming of bibliographical archives, publications, seminars, workshops, national and international exhibitions.
NEW YORK PRO ART SOCIETY MUSEUM emphasizes the relationship between the local art community and its represented artists, which will strengthen the city as a center of multicultural expression.
Museo Internazionale Italia Arte (MIIT)
MIIT is a museum and exhibition space that is part of the “Italia Arte” Publishing Group and is located in the heart of the city, in an 18th century building. in the fervent district of galleries, museums and foundations, just a stone’s throw away from the Egyptian Museum, the National Cinema Museum to the Mole Antonelliana, Palazzo Madama, the MAAO Museum of Oriental Art, the State Archives, the Royal Palace, the GAM and all the main cultural and tourist attractions of the capital.
